Why Are You The Only One Left Out?

finding your niche

finding your niche

Have you been feeling really down lately? Feeling like you’re the only one left out? Asking yourself why everyone’s finding their niche and you’re not? Feeling useless? Like you have no bright future? Tired of hearing “start your own business” when you have no idea what to start? They say follow your passion but you have no idea what that “passion” is?

Well, I’m here to tell you this. Don’t beat yourself up about it.

Doesn’t sound like much help yeah?

But let me ask you, how will worrying help you? How will feeling down and lashing out on those around you help you in finding your niche? I’m pretty sure it hasn’t helped anyone.

I totally understand how you feel – trust me, I’ve been there.

So now, I’m gonna share with you what I did – which wasn’t much to be honest.

I just lived my life. As simple as that.

I supported those around me who had found their “niche”, I didn’t beat myself up about not figuring out what it is that I’ve been “called” to do. Most importantly I worked on developing myself. How? Mostly by reading, listening to motivational talks and messages. Lastly but definitely not the least, I kept an open mind.

Let’s break some of those down a bit shall we?

1. SUPPORT OTHERS

This might prove difficult to do but you can and should. Don’t let jealousy bring you down, always stay above envy. I know it might be hard to see those around you doing so well for themselves when you have nothing going for you. Instead of feeling jealous and angry, turn that into something positive by being of great support to them.  When those feelings creep in, learn to replace them with positives, instead let their success motivate you. Know that you have total control over your MIND.

There’s so much joy in seeing the people you love do well for themselves. Besides, birds of the same feathers flock together right? If your close friends are successful, then there’s a high probability that you’ll be successful as well right?

So now, instead of feeling resentful, fill you heart with joy when your loved ones are achieving great things. 💃

2. SELF DEVELOPMENT

This can never be overstated. You need to continuously work on yourself, always seek to improve yourself, and who knows? You might just get an idea or two while at it. Like I mentioned earlier, read books and/or listen to people who will inspire/motivate you.

If you have a religion, PRAYER also comes in here. Seek guidance from God.

3. KEEP AN OPEN MIND

Yes, this one. Literally keep your mind open. Some things might come to you and you dismiss it because you think “it isn’t something you can pull off” or better still, you don’t even recognize that it’s an idea because you’re not paying attention or open to different possibilities.

When you open your mind to different possibilities, you’ll be amazed.

ONE LAST TIP:

GO FOR IT

Is there one thing – or two – that you’ve had in mind for so long but you’re scared to take that step? Or worried about what people might think/say? I tell you, a few years down from now, you’ll regret not taking that leap of faith.

Better an oops than a what if!

OR

Just try something out. Maybe a hobby or something you think you could be good at and see how it goes. There’s no harm in trying, you know? Don’t underestimate yourself.
